How many times have we heard it..."yall don't live in Detroit so stay out of it", "the suburbs always adding their two cents in city business", "yall have problems out there too".
Well here is what I would like to know, first what is the ratio of actual residents paying city of Detroit taxes vs. non-residents who work in the city paying city taxes? If that ratio of "outsiders" were not contributing to the Detroit tax base could Detroit survive??
Should "outsider's" who pay city of Detroit taxes be allowed to vote in city elections?
If so, would the outcome of the overall condition of the city of Detroit be better or worse?
