There are too many people who think that their little neck of the woods is the entire world. With the media going rampet on politics and who gets to play president, we are losing site of the big picture. How about a little comman sense folks?  Just because you read something on the internet, see it on TV or on You Tube doen't mean its the truth. Don't let people pull the wool over your head because their voice is louder than yours or because they act like they know what they are talking about.

For instance, the upcoming election. There are why too many issues with big question marks .... Now is the time to ask questions and get answers. Pretty soon it will be too late. Some people feel what's the use. The people with the money and the power will get their way. Guess what folks, there are more people without money and power than there is WITH power in this country. Educate your families on the issues! If we pull together we can out vote them and get someone in office with comman sense who really understands the working class average family rearing Americans! I don't care where you came from, what color you are or if you can speak perfect english, if you pay taxes, you deserve to vote for what you believe will better this country!

As for me, I am keeping my ears and eyes and mind open.

I am waiting to see who the VICE PRESIDENTS may be. That tells a story all of it's own! In my opinion, we the people really screwed up the last few elections....Let's get on the ball this time!

How exactly do you suggest the questions can be asked? If Granholm and her Michigan Democratic Party coherts wouldn't have moved the primary and spent over ten million dollars to do it right now Michigan would've had a voice in those questions. Look at all the States that will matter now that Super Tuesday is history. If common sense means spending money the State doesn't have then you'll have to educate me on that logic.
Yes, there are more people without money and power than there are WITH it but when was the last time our voices were heard without lobbyists and PACs? Even our own Governor doesn't listen to us, she just tells us what we think.
Education on the issues? How exactly do you suggest we get the entire issue's details when as my Aunt says, we are just told what politicians want us to know and expected to believe them. Many, including me, thought Granholm, Levin, etc., had common sense and understood the average family but they say one thing while campaigning and do another when elected to office. Their focus seems to turn to what's in it for me and what do I need to do and say to advance my political career and image? My bet on Granholm is she supports Hillary because she wants a job in the Administration of hers in the healthcare area and moving the primary had more to do with backdoor dealing than anything else. Granholm thinks the issues here were put out because of moving the primary but maybe she should look at the rest of the country instead of her kingdom. She should educate herself and maybe then she could learn you don't increase taxes to spend mor

No you sell off some of the $16.9 billion in assets this state has to spend more, Google: Mi. CAFR check out the info at our own states site and be in utter amazement. But they don't they tax, tax, tax, watch film maker Aaron Russos'(Coming to America, Trading Places America; from freedom to facsism, then research what he states in his documentary.you'll learn that the IRS is just the goons for the Non federal Federal Reserve.

My biggest fear over this election year is what is the stance of the canidates on the unmentioned yet all to real North American Union. These gloabalist monsters want to disban our nation and disolve it into a North American Union whos laws will be based on the soveit unions communistic model. No one wants to tackle the Evils of the Fereral Reserve or the fact that our nation building is bankrupting us in just the same manner that it bankrupted the USSR. Because to do so would reveal we have been living a lie. It's like we are one country pretending to be another. Yet those of us who see these huge problems are labled kooks or consperacy therorist, which is fine , whatever but when the military comes to your door and demands your guns like they did in New Orleans we won't seem so crazy, but then it will be to late. The problems in New Orleans didn't start until they took the registered guns out of the hands of the just and left the unregiestered guns in the hands of the gangbangers and criminals.
I agree with what you say about just blindly following the TV or media regardless of what source if you don't do the research on the info yourself

you really have no clue.
Me, I do the research, I make phone calls I check out the sources before I buy a damned thing that I read or hear. And when I started finding out what is really going on through my own follow up I was shocked that most of what I've read in alternative news is actually true, not all...but most. So turn off the Telescream and put down the beer. Start researching the truth for yourself because no one is going to do it for you.

Asking Questions 101

There you can start locally...use local government, use your computer, blogs, websites, NEWS BLOGS, Ask the Editor in your newspapers...get your answers, get many of them and then when it comes time to vote, Use what you have learned.
All they need to see is that we are NOT going to sit still and take it. They want us to stay dumb and poor.
Question is WHAT DO WE WANT?

I agree with spiritsoup there are many unmentioned issues in the campaign. The closest I've heard to the North American Union was in the debate when Granholm's buddy, Hillary, said something like the way to solve the illegal entry problem is to create more jobs in their countries because they just come here to work. Sounds like more outsourcing and a continuation of President Bill Clinton's NAFTA agreement carried further. Funny how that works out to their advantage as their income and worth increase the other classes income is reduced and the gap grows between them.
Is there anyone who stands up for the everyday citizen anymore and/or has any clue of what life is like for us? Theoretically, it's suppose to be a government of the people (implying all the people) but it has become a government of the upper crust and we are just expected to believe everything they decide to tell us is true.
How far away can we be from their desire to expand their kingdoms and eliminate borders?

I just watch the Zeitgeist movie in its entirity. It'S amazing! My husband who is big into politics now sees alot of things he didn't see. Some of my theories about government and spirituality vs religion come to light in some of the information in this movie. I advice all to watch this movie in its entirity with an OPEN mind. WE MUST REALIZE THAT WE THE PEOPLE NO MATTER OUR COLOR OR CREED, WETHER WE ARE POOR OR RICH, YOUNG OR OLD, NO MATTER WHAT OUR DIFFERENCES ARE ...MUST STAND TOGETHER, EDUCATE EACH OTHER, FOR WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. TOGETHER WE STAND....DIVIDED WE FALL.

The problem with nafta whatwhen is that it failed to do one thing, lift people in those countries to a higher working wage, sure we might put more to work, but did not move them up the payscale, and donot think one moment that our corperate leaders would move to another market if the pay was the same there as here, it is all about greed, not about democracy.

Yes saturn, but the sad thing is, we are ALL guilty of it. That's why I posted this. I want to make people stop and think and look at the big picture.
