My friends I haven’t bothered to delve into the array of problem the Lions have been experiencing so far this year, because quite frankly it’s too much to even care.  There playing with little to no emotion, their offense game plan is abysmal , the Lions version of the Cover 2 has been nothing short of disaster and the improve secondary is only a myth because they haven’t played up to par.  Although you could say that for this entire team and that is a clear incitement on the man chosen to lead the troops into battle and that my friends is head coach Rod Marinelli.  For a man to peach nothing but fundamentals for the better part of three plus years I’ve got breaking news straight off the presses for Rod Marinelli and his all in the family coaching staff, there is nothing fundamentally sound about this football team and that falls directly on the shoulders of the head coach. Back in training camp we were sold the Lions latest attempt to positively market there putrid product.  Proclaiming that it was time to have a balanced offense more chances to succeed with Jim Colletto at the helm, well as we all know the offensive performance put forth by Detroit this year has been nothing short of an unmitigated disaster.  The offensive approach is laughable we all know and the players know it to.  They don’t believe in the offense and why should that it’s been nothing short of a nightmare.  Jim Colletto has been a disaster wherever he’s been he was a fraud of a coach at Prude, a complete failure as an assistant at Notre Dame the only once of success Colletto has ever enjoy was the six years he spent as the offensive line coach in Baltimore.  Jim Colletto should’ve never been given this job in the first place and now we can all see why the proof is in the pudding.

On defensive is a complete debacle and Joe Barry needs to go.   The veterans Tampa Bay outcasts have been a joke. They’re supposed great knowledge of the legendary Tampa 2 defense as been non-existent.  The front seven has been nothing but catastrophic failure watching them attempt to get pressure on an opposing QB is pitiful you no way because there simply not good enough.  Once again it all gets traced back to the man at the top in Rod Marinelli these are his guys and there simply not getting it done.  This is NOT  NFL calibre football Rod Marinelli is in over his head and the product his is putting out there every week shouldn’t be allowed to collect a pay cheque every week they ought to be ashamed. Rod Marinelli needs to pack his office when Millen was shipped out yes but  it wouldn’t have accomplished anything this team is what it has always been not good, the laughing stock of the league. They’ll stay this way until they get competent football men to run this team and get some talent in here.  This team is “talented” enough to win Rod and that’s on you as you like to say.  This team needs a new leader of men because Rod Marinelli is clearly in over his head. The talented issues are what’s going to cost Marinelli his job because simply put this team doesn’t have any.

Hello to all my fellow My Fox bloggers out there its Kevin McShan or more affectingly known to you as McShan8150. I really hope you are enjoying my take on everything Detroit Sports. I know we don’t all see eye-to-eye but that’s precisely why I joined the My Fox blog team. I live the back and forth jawing and sparing with fans and you telling me what an idiot I am. But in all seriousness I thoroughly enjoy reading your takes on my work I do read all of the comments you leave me so please don’t hesitate to drop me a line. I live here in Windsor by I am a Detroit sports junkie atheart. I live and die with our beloved Honolua Blue and Silver every fall. Yes I know I need to check into a mental intuition, trust me as we all know following this team will do that to your mental and physical stability. Just like the rest of you I agonized and suffered through the last three monumental collapses known as the last three Pistons playoff runs and believe me I was just as devastated as the rest of you what a disaster. Oh and if the Tigers ever get over the .500 for more than a cup of coffee someone ought to give them a gold medal. Seriously how much more can we all take. Anyway now that I’m finished my rant I want to tell you at little bit more about me. As previously mentioned I live here in Windsor I am nineteen years old and I’m planning to go into the field of journalism when I enter St. Clair College’s Journalism and New Media Program this fall. I love writing articles on not only sports but the latest news worthy topics as well. I thoroughly enjoy the television broadcasting and I’m extremely excited to learn the ins and out of both those aspects of journalism this fall.
