As I sat listening to FOX2 new about the change in the City Council's vote on the bridge, I once again shook my head.  I signed onto FOX2 to see if I could comment and it led me to this "blog thing".  This is my FIRST blog in my life.  After seeing the birth of my 2nd child earlier this morning and now having access to a computer and accessing this site, I felt moved to talk.  Talk not just about anything, but about the "trying" times the politicians in the City of Detroit continue to make public.  I know I'm done w/ the Mayor - that's easy.  At this point, what's next? When it comes to making $$, does it really take a MAJOR overhaul of the bridge name to make a "name" for the City?  What junk.   Come on.  Sell for $65mm now to cure the already "junk" budget of the City in exchange for NO future funds for the City?  Are you kidding me.  This is "kid's" psycology --- short term resolution for lack of long term satisfaction.  Aside from being in the Army and oversea's, I have lived in MI call my life and call it home.  However --- when a lying, deceitful, CON, of a Mayor is serving the "heart" of Michigan, its sad to those that continue to LIVE for Michigan yet loose the faith of the leaders.
