Hold on there!!! These two teams are they awake
enough to realize that they have to have it turn
on threw out the playoffs!!!. Mike Babcock & Flip Saunders don't always control their teams respectively. And the players need to have the
killer attitude all the time no matter what. They
need to stay focus on whats at stake!!! There us no tomorrow!!! can't stress that ENOUGH!!!
Come on Red Wings and Pistons win for yourself's!!!!!

I follow the Wings more than the Pistons so I can speak more about what I hear reported about the Wings. Nick Lidstrom recently reported he believes this Red Wings team is the best one he has played on thus far. Now that's an impressive statement to make about the team. I think it says we have a terrific chance of taking Stanley home and having a parade this year!

By the way, Longshot, I like the animated broom on your post.

Pistons had a week off, did it help? Does it ever?
Billups took about a week after the Allstar break to get his BLEEP together. This is conference finals, we don't have a whole week for him to wake the *@$# up!!!!

I remember the end of regular season when the Zoo Crew ran the floor, and they NEVER stopped defending and trying (quite successfully) to score, no matter how big a lead they had.

Game one reminded me of Red Wings of old, before they started winning titles, the whole Norse division skated and played in slow motion when compared to league leaders (Edmunton, Calgary...)
Game one against Boston Tues night looked as if the pistons gave away just about every play with their eyes and EVERY time this happened, Celtics got a steal (4th quarter)
There was no flow and looking for someone to take a pass just showed the Celtics who Chauncy was going to pass it to.
WAKE UP PISTONS!!! "Your time is getting thin!!!"

Pistons and Red Wings alike (as well as the Tigers) need to NOT fall apart in the final series like they have been doing for the past 4 years.
Detroit sports teams just don't have the staying power to finish the job these days.
The Final chapter is just as important (even more so) than being the best record in the regular season. Don't let us down....AGAIN!!!

Well pistons beat on boston tonight and ESPN still pours accolades on boston.
They spent most of the broadcast commenting on what boston mistakes lost the game for them.
Total interviews with Pistons (in both games)were limited to ONE halftime interview with Rip and one post game interview with Rip... that's all they care about the Pistons at ESPN.
The whole country KNOWs that ESPN want's to see LA/Boston final, and their coverage of the game was the most biased commentary I've ever seen from a nationwide network.
I don't think ESPN is based in Boston, so why does the rest of the nation have to watch and listen to Celtics fans as commentators?
Bottom line... Pistons BEAT the Celtics in their own house!!!!
Pistons lost the first game due to bad play on Detroit's part coupled with outstanding play from Boston.
They WON game 2 due to aggressive and intelligent play by Dertroit Pistons coupled with bad play on the Celtics' part.
Why can't the network give fair and unbiased game coverage?
They even asked questions in the post game press conference that made the pistons seem lucky that they won.
No luck needed tonight, just hard play and determination.
Game one, pistons took a nap, game 2 Pistons were the PISTONS!!!!
Series 1 to 1
Time to show Celtics what playoff B-ball is like in the Palace
