In total over 47,00 more jobs cut. Another 5 American plants shut down.

Survival??? For whom. Did I also here Rick Waggoner state that the Plant in CHINA would remain? Stating they think China is what they are looking for the the Future. Well that certainly makes F'N sense. GM will gladly cut our workers throats here, but maintain that it's not in America's interest to close plant in China. WHY? Do we have a fair trade thing going with China. That we're too afraid to say sorry but it's your asses gone first? But it's our plants and workers out of jobs instead of them?

This entire thing has become a damn fiasco. I'm to the point where I hope President Obama and whole Congress and Senate tell GM to go F' itself. I know this will hurt thousands more here, but what the hell. Washington should tell GM, Chrysler and any other American Company, that if you cut jobs it should be foreign ones FIRST. China can go drop dead. We have never been on a fair playing field here with these Communists. Chuck our plants and jobs here but keep China ones.

I DON'T THINK SO.

Only one's going to Survive is Foreign Workers, and that is total BullS**T.

So Fox wants kids on the sight. Can't think of any other reason why they did this. Add friends, blah, blah, blah. What the Hell. I write blogs on News & Politics. I've got friends off the computer. No adult I know is going to write on a blog and have every blog turned into a fiasco. I haven't been a child in a very long time. And I'm not about to start baby sitting at 51. Soldier wanna be's who act, write and sound like 13 year olds. Begging to be believed. Veterans don't beg for anything. I have critisized those who are over 20 and have a my space page. It's called immaturity. And that is what this sight has now turned to so enjoy it. Not one single thing wrote will now have any intelligent responses. Only insults because that's what children that haven't grown up do.

Sorry My Fox, my blog isn't a play pen. Good f'k'n luck.

When I left here just after Christmas there wasn't any race war going on. Well, other than the usual idiots that have always been here. But now every frigging day and night, we have a blogger named Bay Bay posting a hundred blogs a day on every black person in history born, then counter parts ripping blacks. Is all this really necessary? Bay you'll be taking more seriously if you blog on one pacific subject matter, instead of the same identical subject matter all the time. Thus far all your blogs are saying the same damn thing. Black this, black that. It's all becoming a bore. There are idiots here that will always rip people no matter what their heritage is. You have to be smarter than letting them draw you into this race bulls**t. Your acting just like them, no difference. And that's what they want. Your stooping to their level.  Now if this is really who you are then good luck to you. Every time I come to this blog sight now, I'm seeing one blog after the other not really saying anything different. You remind me of Constitutional Crisis whom I haven't seen upon returning. They were obnoxious with same boorish rants and your becoming the same. For God's sake pick a different subject. There were and are many great people that have walked the earth of all nationality's.

Give it a rest.

Do yourself a favor. Do like I do and read the blog board from the bottom up, ignore the post names and their blogs all together that you know are idiots. No one can run you down, BUT YOU. Many waste their typing posting on my blogs. They are never read, and automatically deleted. They know who they are and they know they're going to be deleted. But keep trying just the same.  How messed up is that? But then there are some that like talking to themselves. Whatever. You learn fast who are the trolls that are only here to mess up as many blogs as they can. You have to be smarter than that. I don't allow it.

Funny you remembered that blogger's name, because I didn't. I thought it was turn off the lights, so come off it. But I didn't forget what they exposed about you. The whole board found out, so save your bull rant. Don't remember all the links that individual used on you, but you were found to be a WOMAN on the another sight with same identical rants here on this one about the Governor and state of Mi. Even down to the city that both of your personalities lived down south. So stop this military speech you keep giving everyone. You were exposed as a woman with a husband a small child. Did you think that all would be forgotten? I Think Not.

Cry on.

And I'm sure all the other nationality's want one for theirs too. All went through trials and tribulations when they came to this country. Why not a month for Jewish ( slaughtered in history by the millions ) descendants. Polish, Macedonian, Greek, Belgium, etc...  There are many great people of all nationality's worthy of mention through history in this country.  A lot were also treated like dirt when they came to America. I remember my Dad telling me when he came up ( born in 24 ), most of the cops back then were Irish. They would come into the Italian neighborhood ( Eastern Market area ) and take groups of kids, throw them up against walls and make them assume the position like they were all criminals. Calling them Whops and any other derogatory names they could think of. But their lives went on without all the crying, much less forever. And only my Grandparents were Italian/Americans. My Dad and his siblings were AMERICAN OF ITALIAN DECENT.

So unless you were born in a different country first then got citizenship here, stop putting your nationality before AMERICAN. I'm fed up with this Bull as well. It's time we stop just honoring one heritage for an entire month. There are many great people of all nationality's in this country that cried on ships when they passed by the Statue of Liberty. Because they wanted a better life, and got it by hard work. And not by crying all the time because somebody who hated themselves, called them names. It's time to recognize ALL the heritage's of this country called AMERICA.

Somebody ripped me sometime ago because my profile said Proud Italian, obviously they hated their own heritage. Being born in Detroit, Mi. U.S.A. of course I'm American. But I am also proud of my heritage. All people should be. And it's time for all to get RECOGNITION.

There were a lot of hard times for many of people throughout history, either tell their stories as well or cut out this month long crap for just one group. It's time for the crying to STOP.

That's what it comes down to.

Seems that shipments from this peanut processing plant in Georgia was sent to Canada, and were found to be contaminated then REJECTED  and sent back on SEPT. 15. And the FDA didn't bother to test them.

AP Exclusive: Bad peanuts found before outbreak

It was not immediately clear whether the date on the government's record, Sept. 15, was when the unspecified importer rejected the shipment or when the FDA refused it. It also was not known whether the peanut shipment ultimately was destroyed or sent somewhere else.

WASHINGTON – Weeks before the earliest signs of a national salmonella outbreak that now has been traced to peanuts from a Georgia processing plant, peanuts exported by the same company were found to be contaminated and were returned to the United States, The Associated Press has learned.

The rejected shipment — coming over the U.S. border across a bridge between New York and Canada — was logged by the Food and Drug Administration but never was tested by federal inspectors, according to the government's own records.

The chopped peanuts from Peanut Corp. of America in Blakely, Ga., were prevented by the FDA from being allowed back into the United States in mid-September because the peanuts contained an unspecified "filthy, putrid or decomposed substance, or is otherwise unfit for food," according to an FDA report of the incident.

It was not immediately clear whether the date on the government's record, Sept. 15, was when the unspecified importer rejected the shipment or when the FDA refused it. It also was not known whether the peanut shipment ultimately was destroyed or sent somewhere else.

The FDA said it could not provide details about the incident. Peanut Corp. of America didn't immediately respond to AP's request for comment. Federal inspectors previously reported they found roaches, mold, a leaking roof and other sanitation issues at the company's processing plant in Blakely believed to be the source of the outbreak.

Members of Congress noted that the timing of the discovery of the adulterated peanuts came just weeks before the first clear signs of the salmonella outbreak that has sickened more than 500 people in the United States and may have killed at least eight. The FDA has since ordered recalls of a long list of products containing nuts from Peanut Corp.

"The FDA failing to follow up after this incident, does that mean that products that are not good enough for a foreign country are still good enough for the USA?" asked Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Tom Harkin, D-Iowa. "That's a double standard that has deadly consequences for our citizens." Harkin plans hearings on the outbreak and has proposed an overhaul of the nation's food inspection network.

The House Energy and Commerce Committee, led by Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., announced oversight hearings in the House will begin Feb. 11.

The head of the House appropriations panel that oversees FDA funding, Rep. Rosa DeLauro, called the discovery of the bad shipment in September "a perfect example of the patchwork system."

"Why was it able to get exported in the first place?" said DeLauro, D-Conn. "That also begs the question, how many contaminated products are getting through our borders every single day? If the FDA discovered that there was an issue with this product inspection, why didn't they follow up on it? Why didn't they take a closer look at this facility?"

DeLauro said she wants the Justice Department to investigate the salmonella outbreak, and also is pressing for major changes in food safety oversight. Rest of article in above link.

How many people have died as a result of these inept people? And how many sickened? How many hospital and doctor bills were racked up because of these stupid people, that we pay and depend on to  inspect our food and make sure it's safe. Murder charges should be handed out to those responsible. China evidently is not the only country willingly killing it's own people. If they had just done their jobs when this shipment was returned, all this might have been prevented. Or at least could of halted the product from reaching anymore shelves in food stores or sent to institutions that used it for confectioners, baked goods or candy. It is outrageous that this was just purposely overlooked. If I was somebody who lost a loved one because of this, I would be asking for heads. This whole damn thing is inexcusable.

To think it might of been curbed or prevented altogether.

I just sat and watched for the 100th time in my life the movie,

Save the Tiger, with Jack Lemmon.

He was my favorite actor. There wasn't any part this man couldn't play. Whether the character played was comical or drama in nature. Jack Lemmon from the start of his career perfected it all. The very first movie I ever watched with this man in it was The Apartment. I couldn't of been all of 9 or 10. Yet the part he played seem to mesmerize me. You didn't feel like you were watching an actor play a part, he brought the character out as real. So you felt like you had just watched some part of a persons life. That's how good he was. In Save the Tiger, his performance became even more intense. He once said on Johnny Carson that it was the only role that he literally lived the character off screen. That's how much that role affected him. And is it only one of two movies, shot straight from start to finish in sequence. The other having been Glengarry Glen Ross. And again this character absorbed you, you felt like you were watching not a movie but a real mans life. The only Academy Award won for Lemmon for Lead Actor. But I don't know why that is. The role and movie list was endless.

The next movie I watched was Days of Wine and Roses. What a depressing movie, so depressing after it finished you either craved a drink or never ever wanted to experience a drop ( later in adult life ). Of course I was only a kid when I first saw it. How this role also didn't gain him the Oscar always mystified me. Once again the part was played to the max and done convincingly. Other favorites of mine were Mr. Roberts, what a cast! And his only other Oscar win for supporting actor. In fact the first actor at the time to have won both an Oscar for Actor in a Leading and Supporting role. Fire Down Below, The Prisoner of Second Avenue, Odd Couple and That's Life. But everything this man made was worthy of a thousand views. He was the only actor I went to the movies to see when I got older.  Dean Martin and Richard Burton were the others. I adored Dean Martin from all his Italian songs. And thought Richard Burton was the sexiest man I ever saw. And on the Burton note, it was actually Jack Lemmon who was offered the role of George opposite of Elizabeth Taylor in Who's afraid of Virginia Wolf. He accepted the role then changed his mind the very next day, said to be without explanation.

I remember I went to the La Persian on Ford Rd. in 76 was I was 19 to see Alex and the Gypsy. It wasn't a great movie, but just the mere fact that Lemmon was in it made it worth while. 10 years later in 86, I went to the Quo Vadis to see That's Life. I loved that movie ( CRABS!!! LOL ). The comedies he made with Walter Matthau are priceless. I cannot count the times I've watched The Odd Couple. And to watch these two men and the characters they played grow older together on screen was magical. From the Fortune Cookie to Odd Couple ll, and all in between they made you laugh. You genuinely knew you were watching the best of film. And you aged along with them to laugh even more and love them even more. They never lost a thing in all those years. Out To Sea had me laughing until I cried, with Matthau's Sway dance number. These entertainers were the very top of the Game. They never came finer, nor will they ever come again. From Young to Grumpy Old Men, they were and will remain.

Jack Lemmon was it.

The best of both Drama and Comedy this world has ever seen. I've missed him in movies. He was the Epitome of an Actor, like most of the Stars of my parents generation now almost all gone.  And the movies that they made that you never get tired of seeing again and again, no matter how many times you've already have.

Thank You, Mr. Lemmon for your Talent, Style and Class. You made a lot of people happy that will enjoy your work until the end of time.

Unfortunately that past will be our future for some time to come. This is just one pinpoint of the problems left for the next President to deal with. Don't mention Bush, that's all in the past. WE WISH.

obama_abortion_ban

Let's put this in perspective without all the drama. Number one, I don't know why the U.S.A. has to keep giving money to any foreign country for anything. We have sick here that go without seeing doctors for lack of health insurance. Hell, a 12 year old boy died in 2007 over a stinking abscessed tooth that no dentist would treat and pull.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/articl
e/2007/02/27/AR2007022702116.html

So I'm sick to death about us continually pouring billions of aid to other countries for the same thing we lack here, that no one seems to give a damn about. Let's start helping our own for once. When all of our people are taking care of, then look at handing out charity to others. As the article states ( and yes if you don't bother to read it, don't bother to comment ) that this has been nothing more than a back and forth tennis match between political parties for decades. And it needs to stop. These countries that most of this funding goes to are countries that can't feed the already 10 kids they have, let alone more. The money isn't just being used to perform abortions, but is more being aimed to educate stupid people that refuse to stop having sex and producing more children that can't feed.

The people screaming about this now would rather to continue seeing pictures of starving children, looking like breathing skeletons. God, which is worse? Fact is people are not going to stop having sex, poor or not poor. That's why this country is paying through the nose for welfare, stupid little boys and girls who think they're grown having babies but not having the means to financially take care of them. I say make abortion MANDATORY. Enough with the tax dollars going into the toilet over these lowlifes. Anyone can make a mistake, but when they produce mistake 2,3,5,10. ENOUGH already.

Again I will state I'm fed up with giving a dime in foreign aid to any country over anything. We have enough problems being ignored here with our own people. But reality is, the rich in this world can afford to pay for their own abortions. This policy of halting the charity contributions to these countries, was nothing more than punishing the poorest of people. Personally I'd wish they would force tied tubes and vasectomies on people that can't afford to have kids. Not only in these foreign poor countries, but right here. Now unless all you people screaming about abortion want to step up to the plate and offer to adopt all these unwanted or uncared for children, then STFU. Hopefully along with this reversal more emphysis will be put on educating stupid people of how to use birth control, so they don't have to have abortions. Because they are not going to stop having sex. They're poor, too sick to work, aids running rampant but dummies aren't to weak and sick to screw. I don't know why this should be the United States problem, that we have to send them money for anything.

But in these dirt poor nations, it's cheaper to abort babies who will know nothing but starvation, disease and a slow painful death upon being born. I personally think that would be a crueler fate for them. To be brought into life just to watch them die. That's the reality here, abortion unfortunately is not always a heartless decision.

So Cherish It.

You weren't my Democrat choice, but I voted for you. Now do us proud.

For what was left to you by a failure, a giant feat will have to be overcome. May you do it with grace, honesty and integrity. Many people from the past shed a lot of blood for the day and spot that you now stand. So do us all proud, President Obama.

AT LAST.

U.S. President Barack Obama smiles after watching as White House ...

Christmas day unfortunately was the 13th anniversary of Dean Martin's death Dec. 25th, 1995. I absolutely adored this man from the time I was a little girl. Everyone talked about Sinatra and yes he was a Singers singer. But if you wanted an Italian singer of Italian songs, then for me it was Dino. I'll never forget wearing out two 45s when we lived at my grandma's 65-68. Professor, Professor & An Evening in Roma. I could sing the Italian part of the first to perfection. It was then and still now to this day my favorite Italian record. When we moved, my favorite aunt  knowing how much I loved these two records gave them to me. When I sit and think about it I laugh, saying to myself did she really give them to me because she knew how much I loved them. Or did she give them to me because after me playing them ( on their old Hi-Fi ) 100 times a day for three straight years, and her listening to them a 100 times a day for three straight years, was just plain SICK OF HEARING THEM.   LOL

I still have the records and they still get played, although when I listen to Professor, Professor tears at times start flowing because of the memories of where I played and listened to them. That particular Aunt died in 1996, as most of that whole side of my Dad's family did. So if there is anybody my age ( 51 ) and no doubt anybody from my parents era reading this. This is my tribute to one of my favorite singers. A 1,000 times better looking than Sinatra, and equally as smooth. He might of been part of one of the best comedy acts in show biz history, but to me he was just my favorite Italian singer. Girls screamed for Sinatra in their day, and every Thursday night at 10:00 pm growing up. I tried to not get caught sneaking around the corner to watch Dean Martin, otherwise a lot of yelling and hitting occured. ( Yes we had a pacific time you had to go to bed when young  ). I'd gladly be willing to be screamed at now if only Dino was hear to sneak and watch. How I Miss that man.

Born Dino Paul Crocetti

And the moment that made television history that many longed for in 1976.

Enjoy the picture while it lasts, copy writed. But link to it is here.

Everybody loved Dean Martin. And this person misses and loved him very much. Gone but certainly not forgotten.

I looked for hours and hours for any trace of my favorite. Professor! Professor! The best Italian song sung by Dean Martin. Somebody e-mailed the song in mp3 to me, but I have absolutely no idea how to post it here. Here's to some beautiful memories. For me more than Dino's music. La Famiglia " vivi, ridi, & ama ".

Mi manchi, ti voglio bene, Sei in mio cuore.

Bush the demented will help if UAW workers agree to work for next to nothing. And the Republicans call the Democrats Communists? And his fellow Republican in Congress said it was simply BAD BUSINESS to bail out yet another big industry. The Hypocrites surely didn't think bailing out the Wall Street thieves was a bad Idea, with NO Stipulations I might add. They basically got a blank check to do whatever they please. I just finished watching 20/20. And John Stossel was hilarious doing a piece on Where's the money. Referring to the Wall Street bail out. Now he doesn't believe U.S. auto co.'s should be bailed out , but then he is consistent. He didn't think Wall Street deserved to be bailed out either. And this piece tonight showed not one single dollar of that $20 Billion bail out can be traced to any one institution.

But for Bush to basically say, I'll help you if your UAW workers make even more concessions. Like MORE pay cuts, More slashed health care benefits. Be more like the FOREIGN CAR MAKERS EMPLOYEES and take what they give you and shut up. OK I'll help, but if these workers don't agree. YOU HAVE TO GIVE THE MONEY BACK.

Funny I didn't see this with Wall Street. Nobody knows where that $20 Billion has gone. But not a peep from the same Republicans against auto co.'s. They want the American Auto Makers to go back in time before the days of the Union. Isn't that what CHINA DOES? You do what we say or else. I would tell Bush to take the money and ram it up his ***. I would like to see every single Congressman and Senator who is against America's Big 3, to work on the line at the factory of their choice for one solid week. That's all. One Week. Better yet, strip them of their Political status and make THEM Auto Workers permantely.

Then you would see and hear a completely different tune. But until? We have the Republican Hypocrisy Shuffle. Dance dumb ones, Dance. Hopefully President Obama will remove this particular Bush's stipulation once he takes office. Because this isn't China or Russia's past. This is America, where we are sending troops and have spilled blood in Iraq for others DEMOCRACY, and for Freedom's we have here in the U.S.A.

And that means to make a fair wage through any means available, called a UNION. It is the COMMUNISTS that are trying to bring back an earlier day when workers were treated like slaves, where still at present in Communists countries the workers would give anything to have a union. So screw you Mr. Bush. Thank God your out of our lives come Jan. 20th. And Republicans will become powerless. It will take years and years to undo the damage this group has done to this country. It is the Democrats that will take us FROM the Communism that this present administration has kept us in for the last eight years.
