VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP -- The father of a Columbine High School massacre victim praised Van Buren Public Schools officials for their quick action in suspending five Belleville High School students whose MySpace photos showed them toting guns and drugs.

While I am all for a full investigation, these students should have been SUSPENDED pending the outcome, not outright expelled right off the bat.
Schools are criticized for not acting in cases like this, and now they are criticized for acting on it. People need to make up their minds.
