I remember back in 1987 when he committed his first felony, when he shot a grown man just to see what it felt like, it seems like it was only yesterday.

Now 11 years later he has committed his second one.  Well, actually his first as an adult.  No more juvenile for you,  Homeboy  It's BIG TIME for you all the way.  I know they can't wait for him to get there.  I bet Bubba and his boys been wanting him since he was a youngster.  Juvenile was one thing but Prison is a  WHOLE NOTHER WORLD. I wander is it all he dreamed about.

People kept telling me he was a lost cause and a Menace to Society but I wouldn't believe it.  Well, Nathaniel himself has made a true blue believer out of me. I guess there really isn't hope for  saggin like him.  Thanks Nate.  Yes, I went there.

Fanchon Stinger’s Personal Statement I would like to thank my family, friends, and the countless supporters and well-wishers who have reached out to me with prayers and support during this most difficult time. It has been excruciatingly difficult to stand silently by and witness the systematic, strategic and malicious dismantling of my reputation and career over the past several weeks-a reputation and career that I have conscientiously built with a persistent commitment to hard work over the past 20 years. As difficult as this has been, I was forced to refrain from public comment by virtue of my commitment to Fox 2 to remain silent during their “confidential” employment investigation. Similarly, and consistent with advice provided by legal counsel, I also vowed silence during the on-going Synagro Federal Investigation in an effort to ensure that my comments do no in any way adversely affect the objectives of law enforcement personnel. At the conclusion of the federal investigation it will be apparent that the scandalous allegations pertaining to my personnel involvement with Synagro are misleading and without factual basis. At that time I will also be free to correct the blatant misrepresentations and tawdry allegations that have been attached to me. I find it increasingly difficult to await the “proper” time to clear my name, however the present circumstances dictate that I must wait. I will miss the privilege of waking many of you up in the morning with my colleagues and to you, the community, who have continuously and so graciously supported, encouraged, and nurtured me for so many years. Fanchon Stinger

My prayers and support goes out to Fanchon.

What is this?  Some could say it's  "Dirty Politics".  Some could say "It's about time for a change".  Me, as well as a few thousand people that saw the ad Mary Waters ran  thought it was HILARIOUS!!, because it shows Congresswoman Cheeks-Kilpatrick in rare form.  She almost looks "Gangster".  But the reality of it is...Is that all you got?  If that's all you got on her is what her GROWN SON is doing wrong in office ( which is a legitimate concern) , You might need to come up with something else.  Because she can't be held accountable for what he does.  As a mother, maybe, but as a congresswoman I don't think so.  All Congresswoman Kilpatrick is going to do is....List all the congressional duties she has fulfilled and the progress she's made in the 13th District.  And then she's going to dig up some dirt on Mary Waters, so I hope she's not living in a "Glass House" ( If you know what I mean)   I'm willing to get to know her but she has got to come better than that for me.  She has already started out slinging mud.  So you have to be cautious about who you replace who with and why. "I'm Just Sayin"

Back in 1997, I couldn't believe that a little boy could commit such a heinous crime as murder and then say he just wanted to see how it felt  to kill somebody.  I did not want to believe that, I said to myself why are they trying to set that little boy up? He looked so helpless and innocent.  My heart really went out for him.  And then 10 years later it was announced he'll be released and the media covered  the whole event all the way up to the moment he walked out of jail.  I couldn't believe my eyes.  Why was he wearing a pimp suit or whatever that was. That was not representing a man that has paid his dues to society and was ready to show the world he's ready to become a productive citizen.  But nevertheless, Nate went on TV, Radio and went out to schools and churches to motivate young teens to stay in school and do the right thing.  He spoke to them passionately about how he wish he had never done what he did to spend all that time in jail, wasting precious time.  He spent 10 years in jail for doing something he KNEW he was wrong for.  So why???? one year later,is he doing the same stupid stuff he talked to the kids about at the schools and went to church on Sunday to talk to the community about ? Now look at him, right back in jail for selling or attempting to sell drugs. What went wrong? Did he do any of the projects or plans that he talked so passionately about? Did he come out running game on us or what?  Is it me,? Because, I thought he was so sorry and promised he wouldn't let us down ever, ever, ever again. So BLEEP???

I'm starting to wonder what's the difference? Did they call it a recession to our grandparents in the 40's up until they were standing in line for food and it was actually a depression?  At what point does it become apparent that this country is in trouble?  Our gas prices  are at a record high, our food prices are more that 20 times higher than they should be for this time of year.  Property taxes are so unaffordable to the place where you might be better off selling your home and moving somewhere else for less.  Our schools system is embarassing.  I have never seen so many schools close at one time.  Somebody should have gotten arrested for that.  SERIOUSLY!!   Our leader is hiding behind his title from accountabitlity. Who is responsible for this DEPRESSION we are about to experience.?  Are we going to be the next generation to live through another mismanagement of funds from the government?  It looks like to me that we will be standing in lines for food, clothing, shelter and medical supplies and everything else  in the very near future.  Who's responsible?  I, for one am tired of it. The only thing I can do as an individual, single parent and head of household is to park my car and catch the bus, buy only NECESSITIES at this point, eating out is a luxury not a convenient option now, so that's over.  At this point, half of our summer activities have to be cut out.   Why are we suffering when our leadership is helping other countries?   Are any of the countries we helped in the past going to come to our aid?? Not likely.   Can we come together and rally right at the stairs of Congress, I think we need to give some serious thought   about that.  It's time for all of us to pull together, white,black,young,old,women,men.....everybody.  We are all being affected in the very same way and at the same time.  Poverty doesn't discriminate!!

Even though Mayor Kilpatrick is confident that he will be exonerated and he is determined not to resign.  What made him call Councilmember Watson begging her to change her vote against him and then meet with him so he can convince her of why he needs to stay in office? The only reason I can understand is....If he stays a whole 10 years he will be vested by the city.  But if he resigns he wouldn't get any benefits after he leaves because he hasn't been with the city long enough. But on the other hand if he's removed by Governor Granholm he won't get a cent.  Then he has to worry about if they are going to convict him of perjury. That could send him to jail and he'll lose a lot,  if not everything.  I think he's coming out of Kwame Land and is realizing maybe he's not invincible.   I wonder how he felt when Ms Watson blantantly said no and returned to the table to vote for his removal.  I think we may see a break down.

Cudos to the band, the students, the faculty and of course the parents for a job very well done.  I must say, you are a shining example for all students to see what can happen when you put your mind and spirit into it.  We are so proud of you, and when I say we I mean the community.  That seemed like a mission impossible, it looked like an untouchable dream but you made it happen and we love you for that.  That is a lesson I know each every one of you will remember and take with you for the rest of your life.  Nothing's impossible if you want it bad enough and  nothing is out of reach when you aim highWe love you Martin Luther King High School!!!!

With all the BLEEP that has been going on here in Metro Detroit. Have we let our guards down ? We still have much more important things to think about today. One of them is smoking these terrorists out of our country. What did they really find in that package at Metro Airport? Will we ever know. They (terrorists)have infiltrated almost every business and neighborhood that we have.  Remember the blackout ? I still think that was a test.  We have to put our priorities in perspective.  We are dealing with chameleons.  Are we sitting ducks or what?  All of Bush's men are basically jumping ship, so what is that telling us?  Did he bite off more than we can chew?

I don' t believe that sagging pants is a form of racial profiling. Men and boys of all ages and races are wearing sagging pants.  I've even see old ass men wear them.  I love my sons, but ever since Kriss Kross came out with their clothes on backwards and too big I've been seeing butts, my boys ran with the style.  I am all for fining those butts!!
