TRIVIA.
Have you ever wondered why Jesus folded the linen burial cloth after His resurrection?
The napkin, placed over the face of Jesus, was not thrown aside like the other grave clothes.
The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us the napkin was neatly folded and was placed at the head of that stony coffin.
Early that Sunday morning, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.
She ran and
found Simon Peter and the other disciple,
"The one whom Jesus loved," and said, "They have taken the Lord's body and I don't know where they've
taken him.
Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see.
The other disciple outran Peter and got there first.
He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but did not enter.
Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside.
He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the napkin that had covered Jesus face was folded up and lying to one side.
Is that important? Absolutely!
Is that really significant? Yes!
In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have
to understand a little about the Hebrew tradition of that day.
The
folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish
boy knew this tradition.
When
the Servant set the dinner table for the Master, he made sure it was
exactly the way the Master wanted it.
The table was furnished
perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until
the Master had finished eating.
The Servant would not dare touch that
table until the Master was finished.
If the Master was done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his
fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard and would wad up that napkin
and toss it onto the table.
The servant would then know to clear the
table.
in those days, the wadded napkin meant, "I'm finished".
If the Master got up from the table, and folded his napkin beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because....
The folded napkin meant, "I'm coming back!".
Peace be unto you. * * * He is coming back!
During this Holy season, pray that you are blessed with peace and joy in the knowledge that -
He IS coming back someday.

Houston's Leading Black Information Source Newspaper, the "Defender" Oct - Nov 1. 2008 quoted the average median income for Black people was $50,233 in 2007.
Further quote: despite the annual income of Black Americans rising from 2006 to 2007, earned income is still down from the '90s when more Black people enjoyed "middle class" status than in previous decades or even the present one.
Who are these Black people with such average earnings ???
I know very few and very few other races who are in that earning category.
The Mayor perhaps and the Chief of Police (Oh, he's Black) and he must be above that figure to average the figure out to over $50K.
I wondered with such earnings, why the mass of children within that community were deserted by their fathers and cared for by the expense of the tax payers and not by those earning such high average wages.
Many, many seniors have to live on less than $10,000 and struggle to pay the every increasing taxes on their homes and medicines.
Where is the myth that the Black community are low paid minimum wage or welfare recipients and underprivileged ?
Thinking it may be a type error, I called the paper only to be told I'm a racist for asking such a question.
Well, I thought there might be a job opening but I guess I'm too Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White for that kind of earnings.
Now I know why I'm still driving an 11 year old ford and not a classic BMW or a Lexus.
I'll be looking forward to that promise of $250,000 or now $200,000 before taxes (unless it changes again) and leave those above average to pay taxes for funding all those bailouts.

McCain or Obama - It makes no difference.
What does make a difference is NOT to vote for the Bad Guys.
Former Chief of Police C.O. Bradford ran under two Mayors with a high budget of $500M and admitted on T.V. that he took office knowing the existing crime lab. problems was his responsibility.
After more than 7 years Bradford failed to do his job and left the crime lab. in a worst state than when he took office.
The Crime Lab. had to be closed down to the cost of tax payer's millions plus $5.3 millions over two years for an independent Investigation due to "Bradford's Incompetence."
His only answer was to excuse his faults. He learned experience by his own mistakes. (no apology for his irresponsible cost to the taxpayers)
NOW BRADFORD WANTS THE JOB AS DISTRICT ATTORNEY.
WE CAN'T AFFORD ANOTHER LEARN BY MY FAULTS FOR THE EXPERIENCE.
Vote for the best of the bunch but BEWARE OF ANOTHER
"BRADFORD DEBACLE."

Indoctrinated into thinking that taxing the businesses would prevent earnings from creativity and expansion of the businesses is now a proven myth.
Any profits made nowadays goes into the pockets of the owner, the directors, the shareholders and anything other than the Company.
The bigger the profits the more bonuses and handouts, little or any is considered necessary to benefit the structure of the Company.
The greed of industry is not only the Oil Cartels but with the small businesses.
Oil Companies makes profits in the billions but haven't restructured nor built a new refinery for decades although still being subsidized with tax payers hard earned cash and pay zero taxes.
Some of this money is diverted as corrupt bribe money
(so named pack money) to our Politicians via those scum of the earth
bottom feeders called THE LOBBYISTS. (why do we have them ???)
The billions made is still not funding the safety of double skinned tankers which roam the seas in single skinned vessels just waiting for another Valdez disaster of even greater magnitude to destroy our sea food and wild life.
We have refineries unstable like Russian Roulette, so old and rusty and waiting for another BP blow out, death and destruction.
When will we ever learn - STOP THE FUNDING OF BIG CORPORATIONS AND MONOPOLIES.
If they can't manage a business - then let them sink and stop their black mail into threats of unemployment if we don't bail them out.

My observance and opinion.
Wonder why Joe the Plumber is not keen on Obama's proposed $250,000 before taxes.
Must be he makes a lot more and was even found to be too mean to renew or register for his plumber's license and to pay his taxes.
That's a lot of loot for a one man bandit.
Plumbers have become get rich quick leeches following in the footsteps of Car dealerships.
Once thought to be your trusted friend, now out to rob you liken to A/C contractors. (the worst of the bunch)
With so much work in the offering due to aging properties from the 80's Oil Boom with homes built with poor workmanship and materials used (City inspections were rarely made) coupled with known corruption.
Plumbers now demand top dollars ($75 to $95 per hour) and even have the nerve to charge for estimates.
It took me 6 long years to get my degree as it does most professionals.
Plumbing is NOT a science - It's just a know how and most jobs other than major can be done by the handy homeowner and or a helpful neighbor from a D.I.Y. book and hardware store at a fraction of the price a plumber robs you.
Most plumbers other than the big names lament on the cost of insurance and bonding but few like Joe have any liability and most customers don't check their credentials and rely on that big trusting smile unaware their eyes are about to be screwed out.
Plumbing liken to A/C usually hits us at a crucial moment but beware and put on that thinking cap before making rash decisions.
It need not be as urgent as it looks (always get a second opinion).
Now lets hear some of those rip offs you had to swallow and help enlighten your fellow bloggers into saving a buck and their butt.

Politicians get full Medical, Dental, Optical and Major treatment FREE without paying into any system be it private or otherwise.
Sarah Palin is the only candidate to commit to helping those with disabilities if elected.

The law states you must be a legally natural-born citizen of the United States and that is why Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger does not qualify to run for the Presidency.
What about Senator Barack Obama ?
According to the law on the books at the time of his birth, the law in effect between December 24, 1952 and November 13, 1986 when the law was changed.
The new law did NOT preempt the former law in the cases of those born between the above listed dates when the old law was in effect.
Therefore, Senator Obama may very well be disqualified as the Democratic candidate in the Presidential campaign.
Presidential office requires the person elected to be a natural-born United States citizen if the child was NOT born to two US citizen parents.
US law very clearly stipulates, "If only one parent was a US citizen at the time of your birth, that parent MUST have resided in the United States for at least TEN years, at least FIVE of which had to be AFTER the age of Sixteen."
Obama's father was not a US citizen and Obama's mother was only 18 when he was born, which means although she had been a US citizen for 10 years, his mother fails the test for being so for at least 5 years prior to Barack Obama's birth.
In order for her child to be a naturl-born citizen, his mother would have had to be 21 at the time of his birth.
Mrs. Obama was not old enough to qualify for her son for automatic US citizenship.
At best Barack Obama is only a naturalized citizen.
If Obama were elecled President, it would set a presidence for any other naturalized citizen as with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to also run for President.
