I just saw on the news that the Mayor was suppose to be in court today but was a no show. Christine was there, the lawyers were there but no Kwame? They said he was in texas on business. I thought he was suppose to notify the court when he had to be out of town? The only was Giles is going to get any respect is to tether him like the Judge did Christine before he makes a fool out of him and openly show that he is a ally of his. Giles looked like a little kid having a temper tantrum saying he was suppose to be here physically, he is a defendant in a criminal preceding. Kwame fears no one he thinks he is untouchable and anyone who tries to chastise him is foolish and only wasting their time and money. I'm sure he's not worried about the Governor doing anything either as long as the rich folks that he has sold the city to and his friends and family whom he has passed on Government, State and local money keeps his pockets lined.

So-called mayor is charged with 8 Felonys, violates 2 court orders, sitting so-called judge refuse's to recuse self, judge doesn't issue contempt of court order against defendant, so-called concerned residents of city DO NOTHING. Is this because he's a brotha or because the city residents are lazy or stupid or just DON'T CARE??....

The Mayor thinks he is above the law because he the mayor. He needs to be relieved from his duties as Mayor. He cannot be trusted and is continueing to steal from the City of Detroit. I wouldn't be surprised he doesn't have bank accounts full of money, so when he is fired and told to leave the office he is all set thanks to the city of Detroit. He says he is making the City of Detroit better, he isn't doing anything except put it in further debt. He needs to Go!!!!!

A gentleman indeed. I am the president of a community action group in the city of Detroit established to promote dignity, honor and respect for it's citizens. People treat others the way they do because we allow them to but if we first respect ourselves we then can demand the respect of others.
