Did you see the announcement Rev Sheffield made today about he wants to run against John Conyers for congress? While I agree John has long over stayed his welcome and needs to go take up golf or something but Sheffield is definitely not the man to replace him. He stood boldly on the news and said Kwame is his friend and he's gonna stand by him whatever he does let's me know this man is not smart enough to lead a flock of ducks not to speak of a city or congregation. Jesus said if the blind lead the blind they both will fall in a ditch and for him to make the statement he did means he is willing to close his eyes to corruption, adultery, lies, maybe even murder to be a friend. Hey Reverend what about your soul?

I think this would be a prime example of "out of the frying pan and into the fire." Perhaps the good Reverend forgot that the church and the state need to be separate. I believe that if he were elected we could make all of metro Detroit the butt of the country's jokes.

I wasn't surprise my boyfriend and I said all alone that he was going to run for something we just ddin't know what. There is no way that I will vote for him since he supports corruption then he's a corrupt too.

Well , don't be surprised when either of them get voted for . This is a case where there is no lesser of two evils .

Morning all,
I kinda think Sheffield would be the greater of the two evils. Someone who is suppose to be a man of God but condone's his buddy"s actions may get in there and finish detroit off. Maybe when you sent kwame my way sheffield can come with him. We have some pretty big ditche's they can fall over, oh yeah there called mountain's.

Yes, I too feel like I have heard it all ! This guy is as delusional as defendant Kilpatrick. I can't imagine that anyone in their right frame of mind would vote for this man.

I do agree that it's time for Conyers to ride off into the sunset but to replace an incompetent with a crook is plain stupid !

Yeah, I saw that on the news today, and I had to listen very closely. Whats the difference if kawamee's out, and Sheffeild is in?

Sounds to me that Sheffield is perfect for Detroit, sounds like an idiot, supports people that have no morals, and I bet the people would vote for him, just look at the past, and who detroit voted in. this guy should be a shoe in.

A gentleman indeed. I am the president of a community action group in the city of Detroit established to promote dignity, honor and respect for it's citizens. People treat others the way they do because we allow them to but if we first respect ourselves we then can demand the respect of others.
