I was listening to a political commentator recently dicuss how those rooting on Senator Hillary Clinton to withdraw from the Presidential race are foolish to ever count out a Clinton.

Looking at the numbers in West Virginia tonight, perhaps his comment has some grit.

By no means is this an endorsement for Mrs. Clinton, but what do you think?  Is it wise, when reviewing their history to believe she would give up a fight that easily?   What do you think?

Let's blog!

This is going down to the very bitter end. Obama will win the popular vote.

Hillary just might get the superdelegates and the endorsement of the party at the Dem Convention. If she does.....then all heck is going to break lose.

Her plea will be she won the Big States in the primaries.

This will play out to the very end......and it's going to be ugly and bitter. I mean it's already tooth and nail.

Every can see there is no love lost between these two.

They both better come to some kind of common ground or McCain just might steal the election because people will say,"Look!... Barack and Mrs Clinton can't even agree with each other let alone bring the party together, so how can we expect either of these two to run the country?"

I get a headache even thinking about this scenario

yeah, the Democratic Party will lose BIG because they couldn't keep a lid on this whole thing. If Obama wins you'll lose 1/2 the feminist population. If Hillary wins, a good 5/6th of the black vote goes right out the window. Civil Rights Act be damned. Obama is way ahead in the delegate race. Truthfully which would America vote for the white woman or the black guy. Neither is really a super winner. The only way either one of them will beat John McCain is if they pick an awesome VP. If John Edwards jumped on board with Obama. There's no way they could lose.

What most of the talking heads seem to be saying is that "Hillary, quit, PLEASE!

The Dems are poised to have a landslide in November. The longer this goes on, the more feelings are hardened, the more likely McCain could win when in just about any other election contest, he would have NO chance. Don't want to go on a McCain rant........but lets just say that many Conservatives (NOT necessarily Repubs) are not exactly on the McCain bandwagon and he seems intent on not reach out to the base.........he thinks he can win in November the same way he got the nomination Dems crossing over and "Independents". Good Luck JOHN!

True, adoseoftruth...(no pun intended here--it just came out that way)....good luck johnnymac, i won't predict it will be a blowout victory for barack, in fact this will be a tighter and closer race than people believe.

Never bet against a Clinton... thats all I gotta say. The numbers are one thing, but when it comes right down to it, she has more tricks up here sleeves than anyone.

Interestingly, if you remember--- Obama met with Edwards a few months back. So, "alabamaslammer," you may have something there. Great blog gang! -Cynthia
