Life is full of twist and turns
Trying to live in such a cold and complexed world
How do we make it? or do we fake it?
So we won’t get
burned.
Waking everyday wanting more for your self
People thinking you have it all together
You’re smiling, laughing, and giving to all who ask
They don’t understand that you too have insecurities?
Insecurities of thinking your life maybe put on a shelf
Maybe because
of your past
You are more powerful beyond belief
It’s the Lord you must seek
So you can be above and not beneath
Above the hurt, above the failure and the many trials you have endured
You will rise up and move forward just hold on to the Lord
He will continue to carry
you through this cold and complexed world
And bring you to a place you have been wanting and longing for
You will be free in your spirit and mind and understand this life He has given you
No matter what your past or present life has been, He has something in store just for you
Man can do nothing it’s the Lord who opens and closes doors.

"To Whom Much Is Given, Much Is Required"
Is it to be or not to be, having a Mayor for Detroit City?
Promising to Lead, and make Detroit a better place.
Now your spending all your time
Contemplating ways to plead your case.
Speaking in schools, television, conventions, and church.
If this is the case why are the Residents of Detroit still being hurt?
Remember the last election he ran for?
We the people supported him, now what do we get?
He won't even open the door!
Remember when the Mayor removed his earring from his ear?
I guess to show the people he's loyal, humble, and that he really cares.
Guess what happened after he won his second term?
In his ear the earring returned.
My people understand, he's not just the Mayor, he's also a man
Who probably believes he's doing the best that he can
Showing the people that he really does care
It's not wrong for him to enjoy his family, life, and take trips just because He's the Mayor!
Mr. Mayor when you were hired,
Did you stop to think about what God said,
"To whom much is given, much is required"?
We the people want to know are you really for the homeless, jobless, Poor neighborhoods, safety, and the needy?
It's hard to believe the things that you say
Because of your alleged affairs and perjury
How can you put your hand on the Bible and lie?
And expect we the people to believe you
When you look us in the eye?
Mr. Mayor where is Detroit City's First Lady?
The one you stood before God with, exchanged vows
Yes this beautiful, Regal woman that you married?
While you were out doing the alleged things that you are accused of
Did you forget or even think about your 3 sons?
The son's that your wife the First Lady Carried?
A man of truth? A man of integrity? A man of God?
These are the things you say that you are!
But we the people, have yet to see this thus far!
Mr. Mayor please come forward, and speak your peace
So all this mess can begin to cease.
Stand up! stop running, or are you going to resign?
Tell the people something, Don't you think it's about time?
Stand up! stop running so you can Lead
Is it your pride? or is it fear?
Where you can't comprehend it's the Mayor the people need.
Mercy Lord if he falls down on his knees
And realizes that it's the people that he needs.
Residents of this great city please don't be dismayed
Know that this is just apart of the plan
And nothing will be delayed.
It's has to come to pass
To show Jesus power
That It's only His Word that will last
Cause no man knows the day nor the hour?

WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF?
I wonder why in relationships
Some people don’t understand
That’s it’s not just about having a woman or a man
It’s about give and take
It’s about ups and downs
it’s about all thee above
Even when the other person is not around
Relationships are hard work,
It’s not about how many times you can conquer getting under her skirt
Relationships are beautiful you see
It’s not about how much money he can give you or me?
It’s about love
It’s about sharing
In your relationship do you show enough caring?
It’s about Christ
It’s about sacrifice
It’s about sharing everything
Even your life
We are afraid to feel
We are afraid to be loved
Why is this I wonder?
Love is so powerful, It’s like thunder
Are you afraid of what God has for you?
Is this fear disabling you from what’s true?
Have you prayed for what’s in front of you
And now it’s there you don’t know what to do?
Allow your self to feel
To love
To be loved
Allow your self to be real
I know you have been hurt
I know that it’s hard to trust
And this love you don’t want to rush
God said, “Put not your trust in man”
But put your trust in Him
Will you allow Him to heal your pain?
He can turn your pain into gain
He can turn your fears into tears
Tears of rest, tears of love, tears of joy
But only if you let go
Let go of what has been enabling you
To receive what you have prayed for
Seek an ye shall find, knock and He will open the
door
God loves you
I love you
Why don’t you try loving you
So you can feel this love that is true
Feel the power, feel the move, feel the providence of God in your life
Stop letting the enemy dominate your thoughts
Take charge, step forward, Don’t you remember it was Jesus who fought
Fought for you to have life
And more abundantly
You shall not eat by bread alone
But by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God
So eat, taste and see how good the Lord is
Believe what He says in his Word about you
For He is a God who can not lie
Scream, shout, pout, cry
But don’t let God’s Word and love that’s inside of you die
