I'd like to vent about the weather!  I'm soooooooo sick of wearing multiple layers of long underwear!  Thank goodness it's going to be milder this week and I can shed some of the bulk.  The ladies will probably relate to this - but don't you feel so un-feminine in the winter?!  Seriously - It's impossible to feel sexy when you feel like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man!  I'm longing for the day when I can once again wear a skirt & heels outside.  I think I'll be waiting a while longer...

 

It was terrifying, yet amazing at the same time!  We were flying into Chicago late Sunday night/early Monday morning - and went right through a storm!  The pilot warned us it would get bumpy, and did it ever.  I thought the plane was going to get struck by lightning.  The skies were lighting up around us every 5 seconds.  It was quite impressive to watch, but I was shaking with fear at the same time.  Finally, we saw Chicago appear under the clouds.  I thought it would be over in a matter of minutes - until the pilot announced they had closed O'Hare!  The weather was too bad for planes to land!  So back through the storm we went, landing in Indianapolis instead.  I didn't make it back home to Milwaukee until 7:30 Monday morning - several sleepless hours later than expected!  

Every spring I seem to catch a cold, and it's usually after one of our "roller coaster rides."  You know what I'm talking about: the temperature is 80 one day, then 30 the next!  This invariably seems to result in the sniffles, but I've always heard there's no correlation between the weather and germs.  So what's the deal?  Why do I have another cold?!!
