Toxic Toothpaste - for today's topic on top of bad meat, bad soil, etc. is now toxic toothpaste, and guess where it is from???? China.

To make the toy situation worse with lead to harm our kids, now toxic toothpaste.  Read the labels everyone please READ............ this was in today's NY Times.

Even though I almost fell off my chair - I was not surprised but yet I was - how the heck does something like this happen, toys, dog food, toothpaste - what may I ask is next?????

JR The problem is becoming very scary and I am afraid to buy anything for my grandchildren. Not only do you have to read the labels but you really have to put your trust in the manufacturer that they are not liars.

You can't just read the labels, I want to know how everything is shipped out and who's in control.

JR - I try to only buy items bought in the US, but, you know it is very, very hard to do this with everything.

I am a BRONX GIRL and PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN - always! Hope everyone's summer has been going well - I HATE THE HEAT and LOVE THE COLD - I do not like the Con Ed bills and if I could find a way to go solar and/or wind powered I WOULD DO IT IN A MINUTE..... how about you????
