Acorn? ACORN??

Now you're worried about a Community Activist Group? I hate to sound irritated But I am.

What is it going to be next? Senator Obama Shopped at this Supermarket, Senator Obama Got his Gas from this station & Was friends with this person in the Third Grade?

How would you people react if Senator Obama's Campaign tried to focus on every tiny bit of history Senator McCain had? At least Senator Obama tries to stick to relevant facts instead of trying to whip up an National Hysteria.

What would the result of that be? More Misery for the Nation? When are you Republicans going to understand Conservatism doesn't work any better than Communism. America Always, ALWAYS Functions better when it has a Democratic President in the White House. So let's let it have one so it & The World can Heal.

OBAMA / BIDEN 08'

At least Senator Obama tries to stick to relevant facts instead of trying to whip up an National Hysteria....relevant facts my aching butt....he's diverting from his shady associations...HE HAS TO.

But wait...Conservatism doesn't work any better than communism....and there in lies the truth....you're a communist. Boy are we in trouble.

Big Gent, I see alot of 'dems,' liberals,' 'socialists,' 'marxists' and other names 'they' have for us, have stopped trying to be rational with these fox bloggers and for good reason. May I suggest you join 'us' on the dem site where your intellect will be appreciated.
Most of us know all to well that this is not about democrat or republican. That ceased when Senator Obama won the dem primaries. No matter how much truth you or anyone else brings to light, it makes no dfference, because this about 'race.' PERIOD. Plain and simple. Bloggers talk about midevil and rev and I have too, but I have more respect for THEM than the other 'pubs' because at least they are 'person' enough to be honest. They don't hide behind God, the military, taxes, policies or country. You either like it or don't. It matters not, to them. The rest of these blogs and posts, imo, are just cr%p.

Hello Pipper.

Thank you for your kind Invitation. I see the wisdom in your words & I feel the same as you & I understand the likelihood of changing anyone's mind here. But the fact is I feel this is where I'm needed most. It severs no purpose to speak where we're all in agreement. But here... where Fear & Hostility seem to rule, as we get closer to Election day... is where I'm needed. Because if no one speaks out against the Rumors,Propaganda & Outright lies.... They can grow, Take on a life of their own... & sometimes, even be taken as truth. perhaps I can't stop this, or even slow it down. But if by chance, I can get through to just a few people & get them to listen to reason & give up the Fear & Hysteria that they're breading in each other... Then perhaps, just perhaps I'll have been useful.

Once you take away the Fear, Hysteria & Propaganda... You get to the Truth... Then we can work from there.

Now Mrs Kwam.. My Comment had nothing to do with Religion or Guns. It was a statement of fact. Allow me to explain. In my life time with the exception of Richard Nixon each time a Republican was in office it resulted in war - Increases in unemployment - Inflation - Recession or all of the above. The Conservative Economic Theory's of Reganomics, 1000 points of light & Trickle down theory Simply DO NOT WORK!!

A Conservative Business man once asked me " How can you increase jobs & Grow business's by razing taxes on them"? Well I let that question go because I didn't think he was serious. But I've come to realize he was. It's a simple question with a simple

It's a simple question with a simple answer. Which shows the fundamental differences between Liberals & Conservatives. From a business stand point which would you prefer? A little more taxes or a lot more customers? Republicans don't seem to understand this simple principal. If People have no money, You have no customers. Democrats understand this principal all too well which is why we focus on the Middle class & America runs Smoother as a result. While Republicans focus on the upper class & America Suffers.

So you see Mrs. Kwam it had nothing to do with your moralistic Values. They are fine with me as well as your Guns. It's your party's Economic Policies I have a problem with. "Protect the Big Guys at all costs". And Well, You can see the results for yourself & Don't forget that Union thing (Ronald Regan).

I hope You understand.

Big Gent, Oh, my. First, let me say, you write well. I noticed your reply to pipper or ripper or whoever he/she is and it sounded good on the surface. But,then, when I read your responses, it is as if you cannot restrain from hate speech. As far as the war issue, check your history. Yes, President Bush, a republican, was in office for this last round of wars. If you check your history, a Democrat has been in office for the majority of wars our country has entered and fought. If you need, I can itemize them for you. You also need to wake up to another fact. When you talk about Democrats/Republicans, you seem to be in the dark about the fact that there are a few, very wealthy, making way way more than a few hundred thousand a year, people in charge of these political parties. When I read what you write I am amazed by the fact you have bought into a party's rhetoric. I would say the same if you were supporting the Republican party. The last two days, I have given you attention. I have offered you only truths about what Senator Obama has, himself or his spokes person, said, stated and posted on his web site. You, in turn, even though very well, have thrown out political talking points, rhetoric, hate incentive words, and divisional useless comments. I think you believe in what you are doing and truly have bought into party rhetoric used to control and brain wash enough people to get elected. So, I guess, sorry, but I will have to move on to someone else. You may be capable of communicating on a higher level where facts, records, actions, words, promises, made b

I am not a Republican/Democrat. I am a person with a mind of my own. I cannot understand why anyone cannot see that, regardless, of what political party you choose to align yourself with, voter fraud is voter fraud. A person registering/being registered 73 times is beyond defending. The ones responsible for this kind of behavior and the person performing this behavior should be removed from the voting system. I don't care who you are, how old you are (if you are 18 or over), what party you vote for, your economic level, your ethnicity, your gender, your sexual preference, and/or your family status, this type of voter fraud affects your (1 vote) constitutional right. Said I was through but guess I am not.

Obama's campaign does not bring up a lot of stuff because there is not any stuff. They
have accused McCain of an affair with a lobbyist, when that was proven unfounded, they dropped it. They and you talk about the Keating 5, an issue that McCain was investigated completely about and was found not guilty of anything. The difference is, you, as an Obama supporter, Obama himself, and his spokes people from his campaign try to compare that with Ayers, (Obama was not 3 but already a college graduate) and his working relationship with him in Chicago, Wright (his radical, hate filled spewing preacher) and his participating, possible tithing to support, and political connection through contributions for approx. 20 years (not at 3 years old but 24 to 44 years old), Resco, (the crook facing jail time) Obama knew, associated with, took money to buy his house from, and received political contributions, etc (Oh, yeah, Obama was a little older than 3 at the time) and, yes, ACORN, an organization he has funded, trained and represented in court for years (oh no, he was not 3 then either) as an adult. Again, Big Gent, you lack any level of ability to employ rational, logical thinking. As well as you write, if you could include rational, logical thinking, you might actually be able to encourage someone to vote for your man.

Per Rep/Dem and war. I, unlike you, do not blame all wars on one party. For the record,
up to 1825, Rep/Dem was one and the same party.
Some intersting points since then.
1843 Republican President Tyler involved in Afica Ivory Coast incident to discourage Piracy and slave trade. Oops, not a Democrat fighting slavery.
1846-1848 Mexican-American War, President Polk, Democrat
1857 Utah War w/Mormans, President Buchanan, Democrat
1917 World War 1, Pres. Wilson, Democrat
1941-1945 World War 2, Pres. Roosevelt, Democrat
1950-1953 Korean War, Pres. Truman, Democrat
1962, Bay of Pigs (complete failure)
Cuban Missile crisis, Pres. Kennedy, Democrat
1959-1975, In early years, advisors involved, Pres. Eisenhower, Republican, troops elevated from 800 to 16,000 (20 times) during 1962-1963, Pres. Kennedy, Democrat.
war ended during Pres. Ford's (Republican)
administration.
currently Iraq war, Pres. Bush, Republican

Big Gent.
Is it just me or do you just respond
to emotional posts and not to any
post that consists of facts, not rhetoric, talking points or downright fiction?
I wonder why that is.
Could it be you have been inspired by Senator Obama and can only respond as he does when it comes to truth and fact?
At least you are not saying you want to follow his lead and then go about talking about fact and truth.
You give Senator Obama more respect than he does President Kennedy.

Lynn

Hello Ms Lynn. It would appear that besides Insulting me, You've taken me totally out of context. But I can deal with all that. Ok. let's start at the top. I can say Truthfully & Honestly I am not a hate filled person. Some of my replys may seem a little angry. But I can assure you that those are merely responses to people that can't seam to understand much else. If you've been following my comments I'm sure you'll agree there are times when the responses could & perhaps should have been much worse. But I digress. I can appreciate your view of History & In light of those facts I have no choice but to stand Corrected. But if you'll recheck my reply to Piper, You'll notice the part that deals with war. was addressed to gonowKwam or as I refer to her as Mrs Kwam. I said "in my life time" which would include the 1960's on up (No, I haven't forgotten Vietnam). Now on to Voter Fraud. Perhaps this is a little Flashy, But it get's the point across. Now about your concerns. An ACORN head was on either Meet the press or Face the Nation this past Sunday talking about the Voter Fraud Scandal. Which was done primarily as a way to make money registering voters. So if anyone was a victim in this scandal, it was acorn themselves.

But while listening to the interview a funny thing Occurred to me. Perhaps I'm a little naive, but what difference does it make how many voters were registered they could still only vote one time. For example let's say the name.... Mary Poppins was registered 1000 or even 100,000 times. Couldn't that person only vote once? of let's say there were that many fake id's to go with the name. The impact on the election would be minimal at best. Yes I'm taking into account the Florida thing. But the odds of that would be astronomical. So I can say with reasonable confidence that this was a money thing rather than an election thing.

I don't deny being partisan in fact I mentioned it in more than one post. But for the record, I have voted Republican & even Independent more than once. I'm always open to new ideas & don't necessarily limit myself to one party. It's just in this election, I truly believe that Senator Barack Obama is the better man to lead this Country.

As for Senator McCain sure there is a lot of things The Obama campaign could bring up but chose not to. Like his Military Record (crashing planes, alleged Gloating over collateral bomb damage his affair with his now wife etc.) But no one is officially saying these things, for to do so would be to diminish all the good & accomplishments that make up the man called John McCain. (*please note that all people that I respect in my posts have Capitals in their names, his has always had them)

I was sickened enough when John Kerry had to suffer through that. I am pleased that the Obama campaign choose not to do

I am pleased that the Obama campaign choose not to do that to Senator McCain.

& Finally Ms Lynn. I try to always employ Truth, Facts, Logic & Rational Thinking in everything I do. If it would appear that sometimes I fall short, I can only say that nobody is perfect. But I always welcome correction. It keeps me honest & makes me a better person. Oh yes & before I forget. I do respond to posts that contain Facts as well as emotion... well within reason of course.

So hopefully this has helped shed some light on me as a person & from this moment on I can only hope that I'm not judged to harshly. I always enjoy intelligent conversation.

Ms Lynn, It's been a pleasure.
