The wonderful world of ad campaigns is smacking us all the face with just a little more than a month to go in the election.  While I was sitting and watching these ads, I noticed how quickly both candidates conform to the current events of the day and put the other candidate in a negative light and then they get those ads on TV quicker than a South Park episode, and if you watch South Park that is very quick.  The moment of truth came to me while watching these ads spew rhetoric and defamitory remarks towards each other at a time when we should be coming together to solve the immediate problem at hand, (THE ECONOMY).  If someone doesn't get a hold of what is going on, The Rich will stay Rich and the Middle Class will become part of the Poor.  Do either of our presidential candidates care about this?  They both seem more concerned with the next ad, the next way to attack the other.  I at least admire McCain wanting to put the debate off to go to Washington and help in this crisis, I only wish they could now get it together and solve the problem.  Hold the criminal CEOs accountable for their actions.  I remember a time when TRUTH, JUSTICE AND THE AMERICAN WAY was important in our society, but now it's become a race and party war and whoever comes in first will have a hell of a mess on their hands!

You got that right. McCain gets in and doesn't clean it up, the dems scream that it was just 4 more years of Bush. If Obama gets in then he raises everyones taxes and blames it on Bush and the bailout for the reason. I don't see a whole lot of positive for this situation at all!

"The Rich will stay Rich and the Middle Class will become part of the Poor."

Democratic policies support the stopping of this, it is the republican policies that are crushing the middle class. But since you are the first one to make a statement that I have made and fully support I had to respond with my thoughts. I do disagree that either way we are in trouble, though. I have full belief in the democratic way of life when compared to the rich republican way.
Cute baby!

Oh, just read your bio. O'reilly is a terrible person and is a racist, to me. But, to balance things out, as much as I like Keith Olberman on MSNBC, he is the same way, just in the respect that he is liberal in his thinking and O'reilly is conservative (and just stupid). Most of what I see Keith do is respond to O'reilly's stupidity. I am not suggesting in any way that you shouldn't like his show, I just can't stand the guy.

Well all I can say to Detroitlover is if he is so racist, I don't think Al Sharpton, Juan Williams, Professor (can't remember his name) Hottie and others would not consider him a friend or go on his show. I do have to say it is refreshing to see your comments although are a little negative but not accusatory towards us that like O'Reilly and I appreciate that. I love when people can disagree properly without pointing fingers. Shock sweetie I know you always have my back!!!

Shock- he put a delusional idiot on to expose him and insult the entire black race, that is what I got. Only I find it ironic that he did it during this particular time in our country, you know, the election that includes a black candidate. Is that coincidence? That was my take on it.
Barney- I realize my statements can sometimes come off negative, that is not necessarily my intention. I understand that those in opposition to my thoughts will often view them as negative, that is normal human nature. Well, as far as Al Sharpton and the rest, hell, I don't like them, so if they are his friend(s) that only helps me out. lol
How could I point a finger at you girl? Look at that beautiful baby you made! For real. You speak your mind, I like that. I like even more that you recognize my statements as my view and not altogether intended to destroy yours. Think I'll put you in my favorites so I can check in on your posts. Now, go love that baby!

Thanks,
He is a lot of fun and a very sweet boy. We put a lot of work in him for fertility and he's is the apple of my eye!!!! Worth everything I had to go thru. Thanks for the thought as well. I would never belittle anyone for having an opinion. In fact I spent the better part of my morning trying to find out about absentee ballots for my girlfriend (Republican) who lives in Plymouth, and other managers (democrates) living in Detroit. I have been trying to find out if they could still get them today, since they all have to go out of town on the day of the election. Whoever you vote for, it's is a right as an American Citizen. No matter what!!!!!

Avid fan of the O'Reilly factor, just had my first child at 37 and he is the best thing that ever happened to my husband and I. Married for 10 years. Huge hockey fan and sports in general. Very opinionated about everything. Quit smoking 4 1/2 years ago because I had an asthma attack while at the movies. We were watching old school and i could not stop laughing. Recovering alcoholic, stopped drinking in sept 2005 after being arrested for DUI. Turned my life around because I wanted to havea healthy child and a strong marriage.
