Ok folks is it just me or does anyone else see how hypocritical liberals are.  I just went to move on.org (a very scary website) and watched an ad  called "You can't have Alex".  It was regarding the comment McCain made about staying in Iraq for 100 years.  Now of course if you listen to the comment he made, he was refering to bases that we still have in Japan, Korea, Germany, etc.  Now the ad has a new mother with her son who is about my sons age, sitting on her lap talking about how McCain can't have her son.  My problem with this ad is that her the lbierals are showing this wonderful mother and son and yet can't understand why conservatives take issue with abortion and worse partial birth abortion.   They are so concerned with Alex but want to make sure that women have a right kill their child.  When I  miscarried 4 months before I concieved my son, I didn't lose a fetus, I lost a child.  I was only eight weeks pregnant at the time and I considered that a baby.  I mourned the loss of my child and I loved that child as soon as I knew that child was growing inside me.  So if liberals believe in abortion,  but have the audacity to put an ad on their website showing how much they car about children, my question is does anyone else see the hypocrisy, or am I the only one that is disturbed by this?

Barney I agree with you on losing a child but abortion is a personal choice. Liberals exist on both sides of the Isle and John and Obama both have carried that flag in the not to long ago History.

Tall I am someone who used to be about freedom of choice. My views changed after trying to get pregnant for 10 years. I think abortion should be available when it comes to rape and incest but I have had friends that have used it as birth control. I just find it ironic that such a liberal web site it promoting such family togetherness, are the same liberals that promote abortion. Thats as hypocritical as you can be.

I have to agree with Tall. Abortion is a personal choice and should have nothing to do with political views. I absolutely don't believe someone who is pro-choice is automatically pro-abortion. I think it means just what it says, the person is pro-choice.

Barney, we've never had a chance to agree to disagree, and we offer you the sympthies denoted to any mother who loses a child, but we are firm believers that it's a woman's choice to determine whether or not to go to full term. Some are physcologial reasons, some may be physical reasons, but whatever the reason, let them make the choice as you've made your choice of freedom to keep a baby.

Why must you believe that your values to keep a child is any better or worse than a woman who does not want to keep a child?

Let God be the final decision as to whether or not a woman was wrong in her decisison.

I used to think along those lines until I had trouble getting pregnant. I don't judge people who have made that difficult choice because I have had a few friends who have had to make it. I can't and won't judge them because I haven't walked in their shoes, and it was perfectly legal for them to make that choice.
My problem lies with the people who use abortion as a birth control method, that I think is appaling and I certainly don't want to go back to the days of back room abortions.
I take human life very seriously and I think that some people don't. They don't believe that life starts at conception and I do.
This liberal ad just seemed insulting to me, when the liberals, and I am talking about the way left here, are pushing how wonderful family is but yet they are so quick to make sure that woman can destroy a life.
You can't have it both ways!

No, it cannot be both ways.
On one hand, you have the fighters who wish to see all abortions stopped.
On the other hand, you have those who believe in their rights of freedom to choose.

Who draws the line in the sand as to which can have it their own way. Legality is not like going to Burger King and having each individual get it their way (well, BK and McD's couldn't get it right unless you made it yourself).

But the usage of clinics as your own personal birth control is definately wrong.
