I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day, whether you celebrate it or not.  We turn our eyes to some active weather heading for St. Louis. A warm front is moving through this morning and our highs this afternoon will be near 60 degrees! Where there is a warm front, a cold front will follow and it will be here Saturday morning. Along that cold front, rain and thunderstorms will develop. We may be dealing with some severe weather between 9am and Noon on Saturday. Please tune in to FOX 2 News Saturday morning at 9am for an update.

Our Song Of The Day today is "Storm Front" by Billy Joel.  I know... it's not a Christmas song, but there aren't many good Christmas songs about thunderstorms.

I hope Santa brought you everything you wished for! I got the new suitcase I wanted!!

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all!

It's Christmas Eve morning and the fog is thick.  Rain is moving in...and it is rain since temperatures are above freezing. Those temps will be falling all day, but by the time we are at or below freezing most of the precip will be gone. So it's really not in the forecast for most of us, but our Song of the Day is "White Christmas" I wish you and yours all the best this holiday season!

Good morning and happy Labor Day weekend!  Storms have move to the south and southeast of St. Louis and our clouds will be clearing into the afternoon. High pressure will build in for the weekend and that means pleasant temps and comfortable humidity levels. We'll take it! To celebrate the unofficial end of summer, our song of the day today is "In the Summertime" by Mungo Jerry.

Have a safe and happy weekend!

Angela

Have a good day!

Good morning! Some low level clouds overnight have kept our temperatures bit warmer this morning than they were yesterday morning., but it's still a pleasant start. Another great day with lower humidity, sunshine, and highs in the low 80's. So our Song of the Day today is " Here Comes The Sun" by the Beatles!
Have a good day all!

Another hot day in St. Louis, but relief is in sight! Our high Monday was 98 but,  with the humidity, the Heat Index was above 110 is most spots. Clouds will keep our temps below 100 again today, but highs in the upper 90s are plenty warm enough.  Heat Index reading again about 105.

Our Song of the Day is "110 In The Shade" by John Fogerty.

Stay cool all!  Rain moves in tonight and will break the heat!

Dangerously hot times in the St. Louis region on Monday with highs in the upper 90's and heat index values at or above 105 degrees. Take it easy today and stay cool and hydrated.  Today's Song of the Day is "Summer In The City" by The Lovin' Spoonful.
What are you going to do today to beat the heat? I was thinking of hitting the pool, but it might be too hot for that.

Born and raised in St. Louis, I'm living my dream of being a meteorologist. I came to Fox 2 in October 2006 after a few wonderful years doing weekend weather for KTVA CBS 11 in Anchorage, AK. Look for me weekend mornings on Fox 2 and at every Cardinals game I can possibly get to!
