We need to run for office ourselves. Why the average person continually vote in these wealthy bastards to represent us is beyond me. The values of the constitution have been thrown to the side and now, not only is the government dictating what we can and can't do it is now dictating what our morals should be, and the worst part is people agree that they should. No one has faith in their neighbors any more. I believe if you leave people to govern them selves they will tend to do the correct thing.
When this nations peoples stop looking to the government to care for them from craddle to the grave or stop expecting the government to regulate things that it has no right to govern then maybe things will change but as it stands we are all willingly enslaving ourselves and countless generation into their credit debt and unconstitutional laws, We say nothing as the private Federal Reserve decimates our dollar by inflating our currency to support a bogus war and we are now about to head into another with Iran...evil prevails when good men and woman do nothing. We all watched in terror when the WTC fell and we all knew a controled demolishion when we saw it but then allowed a corporate owned media to change our view of reality and what we knew to be physical fact, that a building doesn't fall at damn near free fall speed into it's own foot print regardless what the propagandists at Popular Mechanics say. If they are looking to rape our nation of all personal wealth and send us into the third world stats, they are doing a hell of a job.

I'm intrigued by the gist of the three above posts and agree with the overall sentiment, but I would ask in response, what would you have us do? I agree that the political scene and the media's coverage is disastrous, but the system is powerfully ingrained at this point. Isn't our best option still to elect whichever candidate we consider to be the lesser of the two evils?
